Shipping
All of our knives are shipped with Australia Post. Shipping is calculated by Organic Tools based on your location. All orders require a signature on delivery.
Please note: Organic Tools takes no responsibility for knives that are lost or misplaced during shipping. If a knife is misplaced during shipping, we will not replace or refund the knife, it is also the purchaser’s responsibility to follow up directly with the shipping provider.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, delivery times are estimates only. While we do our best to meet stated timeframes, we do not accept responsibility for delays. The customer acknowledges that any failure to deliver strictly on time does not entitle them to cancel the sale.
Returns
Organic Tools stands behind the quality of our knives. Each knife is warranted to be free from defects in materials, construction or workmanship for one (1) years under normal use and when following our care instructions. This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse or accidents, and extends only to the original purchaser. Chips, broken tips, discolouration from food, and rust spots are not covered.
Any alterations made to the knife after purchase — including handle changes or engraving — will void this warranty.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian consumer law. If you wish to make a claim, Organic Tools will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund any knife that does not meet our workmanship standards.
If you need to return an item, please follow these steps:
Email us with your original order reference number to inform us of your return.
Explain the reason for your return in your email.
Ensure the item is in its original condition.
Post your return via AusPost Signature on Delivery. Organic Tools cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit. Postage costs will only be refunded if the item is deemed faulty.
We will email you once we have received your return.
If a refund is approved, we will process a credit to your original payment method or arrange an exchange.
Age Restrictions
By purchasing a knife, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We may request ID, and failure to provide suitable proof of age will result in your order being cancelled.
Waiver and Release
When you are on Organic Tools premises or using an Organic Tools knife, your person and property are your own responsibility. Organic Tools is not liable for any loss, damage or theft of your property while on our premises, except where caused by our gross negligence.
Additionally, Organic Tools is not liable for any death, personal injury, or illness occurring to you or your guests on our premises or as a result of using our knives, tools, facilities, or equipment.
